what we do

We’re freshman from Kent Innovation High School which is a project based school.. We've been learning about different religions and we feel that religious tolerance has been a big issue in the world for a long time. We want to make something to help support religious tolerance. The product we want to make is a charm bracelet it would be a brown string with clay charms,  The charms have an indentation of a religious symbol with the name of the religion on the back. The packaging will have a card on the back with a few facts about the religion also these charms can also be tradable because some people judge other religions because they don’t know about it, So we hope if they know a few facts about the religion maybe they won’t be as quick to judge. We think this product can promote religious tolerance because you can add multiple charm’s to a bracelet and it shows the unity between all the religions.

Currently an event that the Kaufman Interfaith Institute is doing is holding a knitting club where people from different religions can get together and knit. There is also a book club that is held on tuesdays. Our product is unique because the stuff is going to be hand crafted, and student made.

What our product will look like is a brown adjustable cord bracelet with small grey clay charms. The charms will have an indentation of a religious symbol with the name of the religion on the back. Also the packaging will have a card with facts about each religion.
